                                                       -      Development Process

A Graduation project at Holon Institute of Technology - HIT.

I decided to explore the connection between a dog and its owner by observing diverse users and their repetitive behaviors in the home environment.

The dog's sense of smell is 10,000 times more developed than ours and is a major source of information that stimulates the dog's most basic emotions. This is how he interprets his world and surroundings and learns to know the people closest to him even more closely. When a dog steals a sock from the laundry basket he learns many things about his owner such as: where he was, whom he met, what he ate, and more.

Through his sense of smell, a dog can, from his owner's clothes, get to know him better and even feel close to him "physically".

My challenge was how to combine clothing (such as socks and T-shirts with a high concentration of body scent) and to make products desirable and intriguing for both users.

In the design process, I wrote down values to work with: flexibility, fixed shape, durability, diversity, dimensions, color effects, and many more.
It was these values that led to the development of the final product.
